Do not be attached to your narrative. That only causes defensiveness and projections. Everyone becomes just a character in your narrative. Shut everything up and only focus on God. That is the only solution. Everything else just feeds into the story. The choice: either God or your narrative. What’s your goal?
Control is the small self….
Control is the small self protecting its most cherished beliefs about itself and the world. If someone trips a wire around a core belief of the small self, look out. The small self will attack, and will insist that it is only defending itself or being fair.
